Load Assessment Practices In Uninterruptible Power Supply Testing
In the industry, load banks are frequently used to simulate real-world operating conditions for testing the output of ac dc ups systems. This method allows for observation of the performance of cheap ups power supply systems under various load levels, as well as the trends in parameters such as output voltage and frequency.
During server ups system testing, appropriate load devices are typically configured according to the equipment manufacturer's recommendations. Phased loading is applied at different power levels, while the dynamic response of the system output is recorded. This process includes continuous testing under no-load, partial load, and near-rated load conditions, recording and analyzing indicators such as voltage stability during sudden load changes.
Load testing can also be performed in conjunction with the battery's operating status. With the mains power disconnected, the uninterruptible power supply for business is powered by the battery, and the current demand is applied by the load group to obtain the performance data of the ups universal power supply under power outage conditions.
