In typical industrial or commercial power supply environments, the parameter design of the passive ahf harmonic filter is based on the known harmonic characteristics of the system, and the selection of components and resonant configuration are matched to the target harmonic level. This design approach ensures that the passive automatic harmonic filter does not require dynamic adjustment during runtime under preset application conditions, and the frequency response of each harmonic filter cost is already fixedly matched with the harmonic distribution of the system.

The active low harmonic vfd, on the other hand, utilizes power electronics and control algorithms to continuously monitor harmonic currents and automatically adjusts the output internally to counteract detected harmonic components. Because its internal control logic already possesses real-time dynamic processing capabilities, the active power harmonic filter requires no additional settings for individual harmonic adjustment devices under normal operating conditions.
