The Impact Of High Temperature On Uninterruptible Power Supplies
Maintaining the ambient temperature between 20-25℃ (not exceeding 40℃) is crucial. High temperatures accelerate the aging of ups power supply batteries and exacerbate internal chemical reactions in backup power supply batteries, thus shortening the lifespan of ups power batteries. In high-temperature environments, the electrolyte evaporation rate of ups system batteries increases, and electrode materials may deteriorate, reducing storage capacity and discharge efficiency. Furthermore, prolonged exposure to high temperatures can cause battery swelling, and even safety issues such as leakage or explosion. These problems not only degrade the performance of ups power backup batteries but also increase maintenance and replacement costs. Therefore, properly controlling the operating temperature is essential for extending the lifespan of battery backup power supply batteries.
