Harmonic Filters Can Be Used To Eliminate The Harmonics Caused By Three-phase Full-wave Frequency Converter Loads.
As a filter device combining inductance and capacitance, the harmonic filter for generator can provide a low-impedance path for harmonics of a specific frequency and separate them from the power grid to regulate the harmonic composition of the current waveform.
When a full-wave inverter load is installed in a three-phase system, the rectifier's AC current interception characteristics cause the input current to exhibit a pulsed pattern. This nonlinear characteristic generates high-order harmonics, distorting the original sinusoidal waveform. By connecting the electrical harmonic filter in parallel to the main power supply line, these filter elements form selective paths for specific harmonic frequencies generated by the load, thereby guiding the corresponding harmonic components out of the main current, making the current waveform in the system closer to the ideal sine waveform.
